Altitude Vertical Lift Chair In As-New Con...

Description

Rather than using an AI description of this product or stock images, what I am about to tell you is all very real.

For several years, my beloved dad has suffered with Parkinson's and Alzheimer's - by themselves that would have been enough, but together - what a challenge. My mum devoted herself to caring for my dad at home, as he had always wished. Recently, he came to live with me for a few days to give my mum a break.  It was a pleasure to care for him alongside my three children and husband. It was also a bit tricky as our bathrooms are upstairs, and when you have Parkinson's, stairs can feel like Mt Everest. Still, with the support of family, he made the daily adventure up those stairs, and my eldest son would shower and shave dad with great care and respect.

We are sad that we don't need this chair anymore, as dad ended up in hospital and palliative care - he left us a few weeks ago.

However, this chair made an enormous difference to my dad for the three days he used it. He loved this chair as it made his transition from watching TV (movies about Priscilla, Dylan, and Sherlock Holmes) to joining family meals (his favourites - bangers and mash, corned beef and brussels sprouts) at our dining table so easy. He also thought it was much better than the recliner he had at home.

If it's helpful, I can arrange for this chair to be delivered in metro Melbourne using Airtasker. Or you can collect it yourself.

The chair is in perfect condition and might help one of your loved ones, as it did my beautiful dad.
