Features include automatic ramp access and power sliding door openings, which have been widened to accommodate easy access for occupants and wheelchair. The vehicle is complete with automatic air suspension for raising and lowering its height so that the wheelchair and its occupant can gain access comfortably and safely without having to leave the wheelchair. Today’s cost for this level of sophisticated modifications is in excess of $90,000, excluding the purchase price of the vehicle.
