Aims & objectives

To provide consultation and coordination concerning matters of interest to the membership of ARATA.

To foster interaction and liaison between all people with an interest in the field of rehabilitation and assistive technology.

To disseminate information on matters relevant to the organisation.

To promote training and educational programs, and participate in curriculum development of relevant professional groups.

To develop or participate in the development of standards and guidelines for quality assurance, service delivery, products, safety and ethics.

To conduct a national conference at regular intervals.

To encourage relevant research and development in the field of rehabilitation and assistive technology.

To conduct such other activities as are necessary for the fulfillment of these objectives.
